The quality of the food we eat, how much we eat, and even when we eat all directly affect our physical and mental health. Food is plays integral part of helping to shape our families, communities and cultures at large.

What makes food so special? Perhaps the very fact that it is our fuel. Like fresh water, it is what we need to survive. Yet the truth is that more than 20 percent of the Western world suffers from hidden hunger problems. Inadequate meals lacking nutritional value, or the lack of access to good quality food products plague many of our already deprived communities.

For too long, food has been used as a tool to prevent change. High grocery prices would have you believe that there isn’t enough to go around for everyone. At Agape Foods, we’re challenging this ideology and creating paths for accessibility in communities that are most vulnerable. The problem isn’t that there isn’t enough for all.
